What is a Contract?
A contract is the legal mechanism through which OASH as a federal entity acquires goods and services under the Federal Acquisitions Regulation (FAR) and HHS Acquisition Regulation (HHSAR).
When does OASH Award Contracts?
OASH works with our contracting officers in the Assistant Secretary for Administration (ASA) Office of Acquisitions Management Services (OAMS) to procure goods and services to achieve our mission goals. OASH uses small and disadvantaged businesses where possible for the needs of the program. We utilize many General Services Administration (GSA) programs as well.
